T-REX users have the ability to run Times Series Line graphs on performance data.
Generating a Time Series Line:
After opening a deal on T-REX, click the Reports tab to create a new report widget. Under the Charts & Graphs category, select Time Series Line.
A report wizard will open where users must define their selections to make a customized Time Series Line graph.
Time Series Line Graph Fields:
Complete the following fields to customize the graph.
- Name the Graph: Apply a customized name to the graph that best describes the information contained within.
- Choose a Data Source: Select a single investment or use T-REX Benchmark Builder to select a portfolio of investments on which to report.
- Choose the Asset Type(s): Select which assets are relevant to analysis.
- Choose a Data Field to Graph: Choose a key performance indicator (e.g., Prepayment, Loss, LTV).
- Choose an Aggregation Metric: Define how to aggregate thousands of data points (i.e. count, sum, cumulative sum, average, weighted average, weighted average annualized % and % of dependent field).
- Choose a Range in Months to Create a Moving Indicator (Optional): Create moving trend lines to smooth out data over time to help differentiate between temporary deviations and actionable changes in KPIs.
- Choose a Dependent Data Field (Optional): Scale the results by assigning a dependent KPI to ensure the graphed data field is appropriate (i.e. market value index weighting).
- Choose a Data Field to Group By (Optional): Further break out the aggregated Performance Data into groups to understand how individual groups are performing.
