The Capital Structure or Tranche Tab is located in the Capital Structure section of the platform. Tranche types and functionality are specified within this tab. Settings
Within the Capital Structure Settings tab, the user can define capital structure specific settings and optional termination terms. Capital Structure Settings: * 1st Interest Payment Date: The first date in which the interest payments are due. The date must be after the earliest tranche settlement date (defined in the tranches tab)
Collection Accounts
The Collateral Collection Accounts Table shows all of the existing accounts within the deal. The user can name new accounts and choose their Account Type. T-REX supports Collection Accounts, Overdraft Accounts, and Revolving Accounts. See Revolvers page for more information on Revolving Accounts. The user must press Save the Collection
Structured Parameters (aka Model Variables)
The Structured Parameters table allows the user to pre-define any variables that may be useful while using the Dynamic Expressions. See Dynamic Expressions page for further details. Within the Reserve tab, users can define multiple reserves within their deal. The user can define different reserve accounts that depend on the target balance on different units. Within the Capital Structure section of the platform, the tab Combo Tranches allows users to aggregate existing tranches into a new display tranche. Having combination tranches gives users structuring flexibility to separate tranches for calculations yet also aggregate tranches for reporting. Waterfall Table (aka Deal: Priority of Payments)
Within the Digital Waterfall, the user can build out the structure of the payments within the deal. The Digital Waterfall will run through each of the steps for each period of the deal, in the order that they are defined, for the number of periods defined under Portfolio > Settings.
Dynamic Expressions
Dynamic Expressions allow users to define necessary functions with great flexibility quickly. These expressions can be used in the Waterfall tab, or can be seen easily in Reports, thus giving the user quick access to different aspects of the deal at any given time.
