Historical tabs give us the option to record actual collected data that we receive from clients. The trustee gathers this data. When we enter historical data, we refer to it as rolling a deal. This data will affect future projected calculations in applicable fields, but there will be no inner calculations between the fields (more detail below).

  • Historical Projects – only appear in deals with a project
  • Historical Loans – only appear in deals with loans
  • Historical Loans (deal) – only appears in deals with loans
  • Historical Bonds – only appear in deals with bonds (securitized)

The Historical bond editor is tied in the dates logic to the loan/solar Historical editors. This means we must input the same periods in the Historical bond editor, as was defined in the Historical loan/solar (remember, in case we have both loans and solar, loans have the higher priority)

The Historical bond editor is flexible, and the only default field is the distribution date, we have a button next to the save button that is called Edit Fields.

This button opens a widget, similar to CF reports

It allows the user to choose which columns to include in the Historical bond editor, and to rearrange their order

Any bond variable will be automatically added to this editor – for example, a new collection account created in the deal will be added here automatically with all the relevant fields.

In case you have a column in the editor, that is populated with data, and you remove it from your selected columns, the data will no longer be incorporated in the reports, nor affect them in any way. However, if you choose to reselect the column, the data will be preserved and will reappear in the column.

Specific column logic:

IO balance, if left empty, will take the parent tranche balance in the reports, if populated, that will override the parent tranche balance
