Reports

Once we have provided data in the Historical loans / solar editors, the cutoff data view will be transformed to Historical Data Through (HDT) and will display the cut-off date, and all the subsequent historical distribution dates.

What does this mean?

In this case, my cutoff date is 2022-01-01, and if I choose to see the deal through the cut-off date, my report will show only projections, and will not include any historical data, nor will it take it into account

On the same logic, if I choose 2022-06-01, I will see the historical data for the periods leading up to 2022-01-01, but the next months will appear as projections, and the historical data provided for any month after that, will not be included in the reports. Projection after the chosen period will take into account the previous historical data.

The important thing to know about dates display is when we create a report, we can choose from which date to see the data:

This report as of date, will always default to the last available date in the HDT. This means, I am seeing the report as it is applicable to this date, even if there is data for dates before.

If we want to see the historical data in reports, we must choose Report as of Date as the cut-off date, and roll HDT to the last available date.

Example: Changed from 2022-06-01 to 2022-01-01 (cut-off date).

Highlights:

The ability to view or edit historical data is based on capability and roles. Historical data is not shared when sharing as a copy, or when copying a deal.
