- Periods must be consecutive (you don’t have to show all the dates – see TREX settings, but you must provide all the dates)
- There cannot be more than a 1-month interval between the distribution dates, or the cutoff date and the first distribution date
- A cutoff month cannot be in the historical data, the historical data must begin in the following period
- The same periods must appear in loans and bonds
- Currently do not support historical data for generic asset
- You should always supply as much data as possible in the loans, we do not have validations for missing data, and it may result in unexpected errors on the reports
- No duplicate data is supported, reports won’t run with duplicate data in any of the H. editors
- Historical tabs are for internal use only, and clients cannot access them. They can see the data, upon permission, in the reports
- Historical data is not affected by scenarios
- It is crucial to make sure that we have no duplicates and no missing value – always verify that for each period, you have the same number of assets and that each asset, has the same number of entries (for example – every single asset reported the same # of time, for each month I am reporting 28 assets in a deal with 28 assets)
- All tranches that have historical data, must have the Principal Paid and the Interest Paid columns filled with data
- Important to note: that there is often a mismatch between the collateral timeline and the bond timeline.
- For example, if the cutoff date is 11/01. and all the subsequent historical dates are on the first of each month, but the bond's first interest payment date is on the 15th, and all subsequent historical dates are on the 15th, so we might have a mismatch in dates for the last period.
- If the last period in the loans is 03/01, and in the bonds is 03/15, we will not see the bond data in the reports, as the historical timeline is derived out of the loans, and thus, the deal will be rolled for 03/01, and the date of 03/15 has still not taken place in the deal, so we will see bond projections.
- this can be solved by utilizing the collection date for the loans, and thus aligning the payments
- Historical data overrides calculations and other data, if you put a 0 in a cell it will override the correct number with 0. If you do not wish to override the data, leave the cell empty. Only utilize 0 when necessary.
