T-REX benchmarks enable users to obtain direct comparisons between different deals. The user can aggregate collateral-level data across deals to compare deal performance and determine key insights. Some examples include:
- Do the assets of this pool appear to share similar risks to other collateral pools?
- Is the collateral pool changing over time in a similar way to other pools that would cause changes in performance expectations?
Creating a Benchmark Group:
First, select the "Benchmark" tab. To add a new benchmark group, the user must select the plus sign "+" in T-REX blue.
Note: "My Benchmarks" are private benchmarks to the user. "Deal Benchmarks" are built-out for all users that have correct permissioning to the deal.
Then users have the option to group performance data sets into benchmarks by clicking the relevant boxes on the left-hand side and clicking "Save."
The user can rename the group, create multiple groups or delete any existing group. Once a group is created, the user will be able to use it as a performance data set under the reports section of the platform.
Benchmarks in Reports:
The benchmark groups created can be used in the following reports:
The user can choose the linked data performance set or benchmarks in the drop down list under Choosing Data Source.
