We are pleased to release the following features to T-REX Analytics this Fall!

What's New:

  • Performance Data Graph Filters: Users can now filter the data that is being plotted on a time series graph. Filtering takes place before any calculation is performed, allowing users to analyze subsets of the data set while still breaking out the data by grouping. Users can filter on dates, text and numeric values.
  • Percent of Total calculations for Performance Data Graphs: A new option in the aggregation drop down allows you to calculate percent of total for a field, or create custom ratios in graphs. Check out the help page for more information.
  • Automatic date ranges for Performance Data Graphs: A new drop down for selecting dates in a graph allows you to always have the range set to show the most recent data. This means less maintenance of your widgets are faster set up when creating a new graph.
  • Tool Tips for Dynamic Expression Arguments: A tool tip will show you the arguments required in the expression you are writing to make creating and checking the expression easier.
  • Relationship Visualizations for Dynamic Expression Dependencies: The hierarchy of dependencies is represented through an interactive visualization in the editor, with outline styles differentiating expressions with dependents from expressions with no dependence.
  • New calculations for Concentration Risk Tables: Previously limited to calculating a percent using the portfolio total as the denominator, you can now calculate percent of total using the table’s column total as the denominator. This allows more more discrete analysis of your collateral data.
  • Performance Data Link: The selection of data facilities is now sorted alphabetically and has type ahead search.
  • New Performance Data Graph: Using the chart editor, you can now select a Stacked Column Percent of Total calculation when there are fewer than 20 groups in the graph.
  • New Document Manager Document Type: “Data Dictionary” is now available as a selection.
  • New Concentration Risk Table Calculations: calculate a bucket’s percent of Portfolio Total using a count of field (such as a text field)
  • New Custom Cashflow report fields: Performing and UPB Beginning Balance is now available to select in your report
  • Performance Data Graphs now support daily data: previously, only monthly files were supported, but now daily data can be plotted on a time series visualization
  • Floating Rate Interest: users can now set quarterly, semi-annual or annual frequencies.
  • Dynamic Expression Round Function: users can now round a float variable to a certain number of decimal places. This is important when comparing values and representing them to a specific degree of precision.
  • New forbearance policies for scenarios: “No Payment/Extension” and “Interest Payment/Extension” have been added to project cashflows with extension policies. You can read more about how these policies work in the Knowledge Base.
  • Updated Deal Landing Page: Reports are now the first page you see when you land on a deal. This saves you clicks and delivers quick insights to your deals.
  • New Deal Reports: T-REX can deliver prepared reports for all users to see when they access a library deal.
  • Single Period Column Graphs: users can now build column graphs for a single period of data.
